First drawing in new art journal

I started drawing in my new art journal. This time I am working in a bigger size art journal. My first journal was 7" by 10", this one is 9" by 12". Materials used are pencil, fineliners and markers (Spectrum Noir).

Art journal page: another drawing

This page is, again, drawn with a pencil first, then the lines were traced with a fineliner. Then the page was partly coloured with markers.

Art journal pages: Girls, girls,girls!

The pages below are drawn with a pencil and coloured with markers. The lines were then traced with a fineliner.

Art journal page: Birds- trilogy

This is the first page in a trilogy with birds. Drawn with pencil, coloured with markers. Finally, the lines were traced with a fineliner.

Art journal page started from a picture in a magazine

The backgrond of this page was done with ink (Dylusions). The flower-heads are from a digital scrapbooking-kit made by Dawn Inskip from the UK. The picture was cut from a magazine and glued on the background, the rest was drawn with a black marker and a white marker.

My first granny square blanket

I started crocheting in august 2011. After a couple of months I finished this blanket, of which I am very proud. I learned crocheting granny squares from a tutorial on the blog called "Attic24", a must read for any real crocheting addict. The design of the blanket is my own.

Art journal page: " big girl you are beautifull"

The girl was first drawn with a pencil, I then traced her underwear on tracing paper. I cut out the forms and traced those on scrapbookpaper. Those were cut out and glued onto the girl. The lines of the girl and the background were all drawn with a pencil and later traced with a fineliner. I coloured the girl with a flesh coloured marker. The background was coloured with acrylic paint and pieces of scrapbookpaper.

Art journal pages with ink and acrylic paint

The backgrounds of this page in my art journal was made with ink (Dylusions) and acrylic paint. The girls were drawn with a pencil, I traced the lines with a fineliner and I coloured them with markers. I then cut them out and glued them onto the backgrounds.

Art journal drawings

Below are three drawings made in my art journal. Materials used: pencil.

Double scrapbook-layout: "best friends forever"

The pictures I used for this double layout were first digitally edited. I used digital scrapbookflowers from a kit designed by "Dawn Inskip" from the UK. Then I printed the photos and used them for my layout. I added some extra flowers from the digital kit, which I printed on photopaper, cut out and glued onto the layouts. Other material used are cardstock, scrapbookpapers, paper flowers and brads. The big letters were grey when bought and then painted by me.
